| How does one go about having a custom piece of furniture made? It all depends on what is the most convenient and simple way for a client to express their likes and dislikes. Some people prefer to hire an Interior Designer for guidance. Some provide floor plans and rough sketches. Others bring measurements and a list of requirements, magazine clippings or even history books. We also provide an at-home consultation service if one desires. After we give an informal consultation to an interested client, most issues concerning style, material and finish become quite apparent. Typically, we work up a freehand perspective sketch as the client describes and discusses their needs with us. |
